Jakarta, IDN Times – A total of 20 MotoGP racers will certainly convoy with President Joko Widodo. They will do it on March 16, 2022, after the racers meet with President Jokowi at the State Palace.
Dorna Sports, through its release, has confirmed that the 20 racers will be in a convoy with Jokowi. This is done as part of the promotion of the Grand Prix of Indonesia which will be held at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, March 18-20, 2022.

1. Route is being prepared
Polda Metro Jaya is currently preparing a safe route for the convoy. The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan, stated that at this time the exact route and distance had not been determined.

The security of the convoy will later be sealed with the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres). Because Jokowi’s presence is very central.
“With the presence of the President, there are procedures that must be followed. Therefore, we will cooperate with elements of the TNI and Paspampres,” said Zulpan.

3. Marquez will definitely come
If 20 racers joined the convoy, then it is certain that Marc Marquez, Enea Bastianini, Francesco Bagnaia, and others, paved the streets of Jakarta. In addition, of the 20 drivers, there are those from the Moto2, Moto3 and Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup classes. Indonesia’s potential racer, Mario Suryo Aji, is in the line-up of the convoy.
