5 Portugal NOS League Players whose prices have risen sharply

Portugal NOS League is the highest caste football league competition in Portugal. In this league there are several top European clubs such as FC Porto, Sporting CP, to Benfica. This competition itself is also known to be no less competitive with other top European leagues.

Lately, Transfermrkt released a list of NOS League players who experienced a high price increase. They are known to have performed well in their respective clubs. Guess who they are? Here’s the list.

1. Vitinha (Up IDR 189 billion)

Vitinha is a graduate of the FC Porto academy who managed to perform well in the 2021/2022 season. After being loaned to Wolverhampton in the 2020/2021 season, Vitinha has managed to become a mainstay in the current FC Porto midfield. The 22-year-old player is even believed to be the main captain of the Portugal U-21 national team.

No wonder the official price rose sharply by 12 million euros, equivalent to Rp. 189 billion. The price tag has doubled from before thanks to his brilliant performances in the last few months.

In addition to Vitinho, FC Porto player Evanilson is also known to have increased the official price. Positioned as a forward, he managed to appear ferocious on the front lines of FC Porto.

There have been at least 11 goals and three assists which he achieved so far in the 2021/2022 season in the NOS League. Not surprisingly, Evanilson’s official price rose by 11 million euros, equivalent to Rp. 173 billion.

He was also trusted to strengthen the Brazil U-23 national team since 2020. Even so, he still has not been able to penetrate the senior Brazil squad which is known to have very tight competition.

There is also Matheus Nunes whose official price has increased by eight million euros, or Rp. 126 billion. The 23-year-old player managed to impress with Sporting CP.

Although unable to bring his club through to the quarter-finals of the 2021/2022 Champions League, his figure managed to steal the attention due to his brilliant performances.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Matheus Nunes chose to defend the Portugal national team. He has made three appearances since his debut in October 2021 against Qatar.

5. Fábio Vieira (Rp110 billion)

Another FC Porto player who has experienced an increase in the price tag is Fábio Vieira. He managed to become one of the kings assist in the NOS League 2021/2022. He was able to contribute two goals and 11 assists in the tournament so far.

No wonder if the official price went up by 7 million euros or the equivalent of Rp110 billion. The original FC Porto academy graduate is believed to be the successor to Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes in the Portugal national team in the future.

The five players’ prices rose sharply after performing well in the 2021/2022 NOS League. They deserve an expensive price considering the importance of their role for their respective clubs.
