60 Million People in the World Still Exposed to COVID-19 as of March 12

Jakarta, IDN Times – The corona virus outbreak in the world still hasn’t stopped. Based on data World O Meterthere are still 60,078,0003 people in the world who are still patients with COVID-19 as of Saturday (12/3/2022).

In accumulation, there are 455,033,867 people who have been exposed to the corona virus. 6 million of them died and 388.8 million patients have been declared cured.

The United States is still the country with the most active cases with 24.4 million active cases of COVID-19. Below it follows Germany (24.4 million active cases), Vietnam (2.4 million), and Russia (1.6 million).

Meanwhile, Indonesia is ranked 20th compared to other countries. To date, there are 376,461 active COVID-19 cases in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Indonesia is ranked 15th in the world with the most accumulated COVID-19 cases. Until now, there have been 5.8 million people in the country who have been exposed to the corona virus.

Of these, 151,703 died and 5.3 million patients have been declared cured.

To date, 193 million people in Indonesia have received the first dose of vaccination. Of these, 150.2 million people have received the second dose and another 14 million have received the third dose. The government targets 208,265,720 people to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
