Telset.id, Jakarta – Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro were launched at MWC 2022 on Monday (28/2/2022). The two latest Realme phones were launched in China last month. Both will also soon enter Indonesia. What about the specifications of the Realme GT 2 series for the global version?
Being the highest series, Realme GT 2 Pro carries a bio-based design that carries a paper-like texture and is claimed to be able to reduce carbon emissions in the manufacturing process.
This phone is also equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and comes with a ‘Super Reality’ screen that is supported by LTPO 2.0. The Realme GT 2 carries a Snapdragon 888 chip and sports a regular 120Hz AMOLED display.

Both phones also include triple rear cameras as well as a 120Hz display. Realme is projected to ship more than 10 million Realme GT series phones worldwide by 2022.

Specifications Realme GT 2 runs on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top. The phone features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
The kitchen is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM. Smartphone mid-end It offers up to 256GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, this smartphone carries a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50 MP Sony IMX776 main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. The phone features a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The connectivity options are quite complete, including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As the highest variant, the specifications of the Realme GT 2 Pro are also higher than its sibling. This phone runs on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on it.
This latest realme smartphone has a 6.7-inch ‘Super Reality’ 2K 2K (1,440×3,216 pixels) screen measuring 6.7 inches (1,440×3,216 pixels) LTPO 2.0 AMOLED 10-bit with refresh rate 120Hz adaptive, 1,400 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus screen protection.
For the kitchen, this phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM, with up to 512GB of internal storage.
The good thing, this cellphone is equipped with steam cooling stainless steel nine layers which are claimed to be able to dissipate heat better than the previous series.

This smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup that carries a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, a 50 MP ultra wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. As for selfies and video chats, rely on a 32 MP camera on the front.

Price Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro
The price of the Realme GT 2 in Europe starts at EUR 549 or around Rp. 8.8 million for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. As for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, it costs EUR 599 (around Rp. 9.6 million).
Meanwhile, the price for the Realme GT 2 Pro is set for the European market, starting from EUR 749 (around Rp. 12 million) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. As for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, the price is EUR 849.99 (around Rp. 13.7 million). There are three color variants available for these two phones, namely Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black.
The Realme GT 2 series will debut in Europe this month, and will hit Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America in the coming months. Realme Indonesia has confirmed that it will bring the Realme GT 2 Pro to Indonesia in the last week of March.

Last month, the GT 2 Series was launched in China with prices starting at 2,699 Yuan (Rp 6 million) in the 8 GB/128GB variant and rising to 3,199 Yuan (Rp 7.2 million) for the 12 GB/256 GB variant.
