ASUS Releases ExpertBook B5 Business Laptop with OLED Screen in Indonesia

Gadgetren – ASUS on Sunday introduced their newest line of ExpertBook B5 series laptops in Indonesia. Laptops targeted for this business use an OLED screen with a choice of two models, namely the traditional clamshell and convertible.

As a business laptop series, ExpertBook B5 is equipped with various features for data security such as a TPM 2.0 chip to protect data in the laptop and a fingerprint scanner that is integrated with Windows Hello.

ExpertBook B5 uses a magnesium-aluminum alloy material to increase the durability of the laptop and make it light so that it only weighs 1.11kg. This laptop has also received the US military standard MIL-STD 810H testing certification to prove its durability.

The ExpertBook B5 screen uses a 13.3″ OLED screen with a resolution of 1920×1070 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits. This screen is also configured with PANTONE Validated Display and VESA TrueBlack HDR. Especially for the convertible variant, the screen supports touch screen input with a pen.

On the performance side, ExpertBook B5 is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core processor combined with DDR4 3200Mhz memory with a capacity of up to 48GB. For data storage, there is an SSD with a capacity of up to 2TB which can be configured in a RAID.

ExpertBook B5 provides a variety of ports that can be used such as USB Type-A, HDMI, 3.5mm audio, gigabit ethernet via Micro HDMI, and USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4. In addition, this laptop uses WiFi 6 which is the latest generation of WiFi technology. .

For battery life, ASUS claims that the ExpertBook B5 can last for 14 hours with a fully charged battery. The battery itself has a capacity of 66WHrs which can be charged via the USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port and supports USB power delivery.

ASUS provides several additional features on this laptop to support daily productivity, such as AI noise-cancelling to reduce noise from both yourself and the other person while having a digital conversation and ASUS NumberPad 2.0 to turn the touchpad into a numpad.

Currently the ExpertBook B5 laptop series can be purchased in Indonesia with prices starting from 22 million rupiah for the clamshell variant (B5302CEA) and starting from 21 million rupiah for the convertible variant (B5302FEA).
