Because of a bee sting, this man suffers a brain injury to a coma! – A police officer from Pennsylvania suffered a heart attack and serious brain injuries after being stung by a bee.

Police officer Ryan Allen was stung by a bee in October 2021. At that time, he immediately went into anaphylactic shock even though he had no history of allergies to bee stings.

Clinically, Ryan Allen died 20 minutes after being stung by a bee. Until finally, he regained consciousness after getting the EMT.

The Shephard Center, a non-profit hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, said Ryan had an anoxic brain injury due to a lack of oxygen to his brain.

Then, Ryan had to undergo intensive care for 7 weeks, during which he was also in a coma for 4 weeks.

However, the MRI showed brain shrinkage and an important part of her husband’s brain was gone.

“But, the family decided to release Ryan from rehabilitation in hospital care to spend his days with loved ones at home,” he explained.
