Bhayangkara FC vs Persita Tangerang 2-2, Widodo is still grateful for the points

TEMPO.CO, JakartaPersita Tangerang coach, Widodo Cahyomo Putro, is grateful for the one point his team got when they faced Bhayangkara FC in the 28th week of the Indonesian League 1 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Tuesday. In that match both teams played 2-2.

Widodo Cahyono Putro said Persita had a target to get three points, but it could not be realized.
“The match was our target for full points, but apparently we couldn’t. We are grateful that we got one point,” he said.

The former Indonesian national team player said that at this time the most important thing was that his team could correct the mistakes that occurred in this match.

It is hoped that in the next match Persita can fix this so that they don’t make mistakes and end up being a goal scored by the opponent.

“The most important thing in the future is to continue to improve, not to make mistakes that will indeed score goals for other teams,” said Widodo.

In this match, Persita had an early lead through Harrison Cardoso, before finally Bhayangkara FC turned things around thanks to two goals from Anderson Salles and Edo Febriansah equalized again.

This result made Persita Tangerang still in 10th position with 35 points, while Bhayangkara FC rose to 3rd place in the Indonesian League 1 with 55 points from 28 matches.

Furthermore, Persita is scheduled to face Persebaya Surabaya in the 29th week of the BRI Liga 1 Indonesia at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, next Friday.
