BRI League 1 standings Week 28 after Persik Kediri beat Arema FC 1-0

TEMPO.CO, JakartaRisna Prahalabenta’s single goal brought Persik Kediri to beat Arema FC with a score of 1-0 in the 28th match of the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022 at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Sunday night, 27 February 2022.

The first half, both teams opened the game at a slow tempo so that there were not many chances created in the 10 minutes of the game running.

In the 18th minute, Arema FC got a chance through Johan Ahmad Farizi from the right side of the Persik defense, but the cross he sent was still able to be caught well by Persik goalkeeper Dikri Yusron.

Singo Edan substituted in the 21st minute through Rizky Dwi trying to threaten the Persik goal with a free kick, but the ball was blocked by goalkeeper Dikri.

Peach did not want to lose, Youssef Ezzejjari fired a long-range speculation shot into the Arema goal, but the ball still bounced over goalkeeper Adilson Maringa.

In the 42nd minute, Johan Ahmad Farizi who got the ball vomit from outside the penalty box immediately shot, but unfortunately it still hit the Persik crossbar.

Arema FC again had a golden opportunity at the end of the first half after Carlos Fortes escaped from the defender of Persik and lived face to face with goalkeeper Dikri Yusron, but the ball could still be pushed over.

The two teams continued to put some pressure on them, but they were unable to break the deadlock that occurred until the end of the first half with a score of glasses.

In the second half, Persik immediately sent a quick attack to the Arema FC defense with a shot from Risna, but goalkeeper Adilson was still deft in securing the goal.

Arema FC had a chance in the 65th minute through Dendi Santoso, but still couldn’t break the White Tiger’s tight defense.

In the midst of incessant attacks, Arema FC actually conceded in the 84th minute through a free kick scheme which was executed by Risna and was able to get past goalkeeper Adilson’s guard.

Risna sent a hard kick into the top right corner of the Arema FC goal which was difficult for goalkeeper Adilson to reach even though he had jumped with all his might and made the score 1-0.

Nearing the end of the second half, goalkeeper Adilson got closer to the Persik goal to try to maximize the opportunity for a corner kick, but still didn’t score a goal.

The match finally closed with Persik’s victory over Arema FC with one goal without reply.

With this victory, Persik Kediri skyrocketed to 8th place in the BRI Liga 1 2021/2022 standings by winning 36 points, while Arema FC remained in second place with 55 points.
