TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Match week 28 of BRI Liga 1, Persipura Jayapura vs Borneo FC, which was fierce at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Monday, February 28, 2022, ended with a score of 2-1. The team nicknamed the Black Pearl won thanks to two goals in the last minute.
Borneo FC scored the first goal through Wawan Febrianto in the 19th minute. Fakhri Husaini’s team seemed to almost win when they were able to maintain a 1-0 advantage until the last minute.
However, Persipura who did not stop launching their attacks managed to break into Borneo’s goal through Brian Fatari in the 86th minute to equalize. Then, three minutes later, they scored their second goal and took the lead through Ricky Cawor in the 89th minute.

Meanwhile, Borneo FC, which had climbed under the direction of Fakhri Husaini, again failed to win in the last four matches. They currently remain in sixth place in the BRI Liga 1 standings with 39 points from 28 points. However, his position could be shifted by Persija Jakarta who are below him with 38 points from 26 matches.
