Can Make X-Ray Photos of Many Diseases!

Suara.com – The University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) had the opportunity to collaborate with FUJIFILM Indonesia and obtain a mobile digital X-ray installation facility with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, namely FDR Nano.

Interestingly, the FDR Nano installation through X-rays can quickly help diagnose Atelectasis, Classification, Fibrosis, Nodules, Pleural Effusion, Cardiomegaly, Pneumothorax, and so on.

“This FDR Nano technology is the result of FUJIFILM’s long journey in the health sector. From various parts of the world, including Asia-Pacific, we appreciate one of the leading innovations presented by this,” said Managing Director of FUJIFILM Asia Pacific, Haruto Iwata in a press conference, (18/02). 4/2022).

The technology of this medical device is considered superior to previous X-ray devices, which often weigh from 300 to 400 kilograms, while this innovative device only weighs 35 kilograms.

Due to the heavy load, these x-rays often make it difficult for medical personnel to be transported to various hospital rooms, especially if they are used for patients with weak consciousness, such as in the ICU or ER.

But with Mobile Digital X-Ray, the FDR Nano device can be moved more easily, so patients can stay where they are.

Moreover, the time needed to take X-rays is faster, with precise and accurate results with the ability to diagnose several diseases.

This is because the X-ray screen feature can be rotated, so doctors or health professionals do not need to move positions to view X-ray results.

Responding to the assistance of this tool, the RSUI admitted that it was increasingly able to guarantee the achievement of the students’ Tri Dharma, namely service, education and research.
