Compact, Razer Presents Huntsman Mini Keyboard with Analog Switch

Gadgetren – Razer is rumored to have provided an update for the Huntsman Mini keyboard with the addition of a feature called analog key switches.

Previously it was known that Razer had brought the analog switch feature to the Huntsman V2 which also has a variant with a standard mechanical switch model. The Huntsman V2 keyboard was marketed in Indonesia in early 2021.

Through the Huntsman Mini Analog, Razer is targeting gamers who want to experience a different control experience from their usual gaming keyboard. The Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard is priced at IDR 2,299,000.

With every purchase of the Huntsman Mini Analog at an official Razer store, the buyer will have the opportunity to get a two-year warranty and at the same time will get a 14-day risk-free return. According to the Gadgetren team’s monitoring, this new keyboard has not yet been sold in e-commerce, which is Razer’s official partner in Indonesia, such as Shopee and Tokopedia.

The addition of the analog switch feature on the Huntsman Mini aims to provide a different experience from ordinary keyboards where gaming keyboards have analog controls that are able to detect various levels of pressure. While the regular keyboard works in a binary way or the keys are being pressed or not.

Therefore, the Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard keys can recognize various levels of pressure in games such as Rocket League, Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Final Fantasy XIV.

For example, users using the new keyboard can make sharp turns with the full press of the key or lighter turns with the partial press of the key. In addition, users can also set special actuation points so that one key can perform different actions depending on how hard the user presses the Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard key.

Users can even set the level of pressure required to activate the buttons when they press from 1.5mm to 3.6mm via Razer’s Synapse software. Not only that, the Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard is said to work with any game that supports gamepads.

With a 60 percent compact design, this new keyboard has no arrow keys or a number pad. In order to connect to a PC, the Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard provides a USB Type-C to Type-A cable which is easy to use when playing games because it can be attached or removed.

Then the new keyboard chassis is made of aluminum and uses Razer’s Doubleshot PBT keycaps which function to ensure key labels don’t fade when used for a long time.

Of course, a gaming product is incomplete if it is not supported by RGB lighting on each button. Likewise, the Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard supports Razer Chroma RGB backlighting which offers 16.8 million color variants that can be customized by the user.

When compared to the regular version of the Huntsman Mini, the Huntsman Mini Analog only provides black, while the regular version of the Huntsman Mini has a Mercury White color.
