Erick Thohir Appreciates Lombok Writers Festival 2022

Jakarta, IDN Times – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir appreciated the implementation of the 2022 Lombok Writers Festival (LWF) by IDN Times, which started today, Wednesday (9/3/2022).

According to Erick, the LWF 2022 event is an event for writers in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) in particular and Indonesia in general to be able to play a role in promoting Lombok and Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit.

“I really appreciate IDN Times who puts forward the role of writers in promoting the beauty of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara and Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit through the Lombok Writers Festival 2022. It should be our concern that the role of writers in this era of technological transformation and digitalization is very much needed, especially in the creative industry,” said Erick, in his remarks.

Previously, LWF 2022 was opened by remarks from the Governor of NTB Zulkieflimansyah, Editor-in-Chief of IDN Times Uni Lubis, and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

The birth of LWF 2022 came from the idea of ​​Zulkieflimansyah and IDN Times with the aim of providing training related to content production and optimization, especially for young Indonesians in NTB.
