IBL 2022 Welcomes Audience, Already Selling Tickets Online

Jakarta, IDN Times – IBL President Director, Junas Miradiarsyah, said that the 2022 Indonesian Basketball League is ready to welcome more spectators. Currently, ticket reservations for the match 12 to 30 March 2022 can be booked online.

“Ticket sales for the 12 to 30 March 2022 matches can now be ordered online via Tokopedia, loket.com and GoTix,” Junas said, as reported by the official IBL website.

Even though he was able to bring more spectators, Junas said the audience capacity for IBL 2022 was still limited. For ticket prices, it ranges from Rp. 30 thousand to Rp. 35 thousand. Purchases can be made H-1 before the match.

“There is no direct ticket sales in the match area. Purchases can only be made online and the maximum purchase time is D-1 before the match date,” said Junas.

Junas also revealed that there are conditions that must be met in order to be able to watch. Viewers of children aged six to 12 years are required to have received a full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

For children aged six years and under, the elderly over 65 years, individuals with congenital diseases (comorbid), pregnant and lactating mothers are not allowed to watch the match live.

In addition, visitors with private vehicles can only use designated parking points or areas outside the location of the match arena.

“Situations and regulations for audience attendance can change at any time following applicable government regulations,” said Junas.

3. IBL 2022 was attended by spectators

In the first series in January 2022, IBL was attended by the audience. However, in the continuation of the competition from 3 to 11 March, spectators were banned from attending the arena, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases.

Now, in line with the policy of Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan that sports competitions are allowed to be watched, IBL 2022 is ready to be attended by spectators. Not only basketball, other sports competitions are also getting ready to welcome the audience again.
