Gadgetren – After presenting Redmi 10 and Redmi 10C in several countries, Xiaomi is back with its newest entry-level mobile phone called Redmi 10A in China.
The physical form of the Redmi 10A with its previous sibling is similar but has different specifications with a price tag of 649 yuan or around 1.4 million for the smallest variant. It weighs about 194 grams with a thickness of 9mm.
The front has a 6.53-inch screen that has an HD + resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) and supports an LCD panel, a brightness level of 400 nits, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The camera embedded on the front screen has a 5 MP resolution featuring a bangs design.
Turning to the back of the body there is a main camera with a resolution of 13 MP with HDR support and LED Flash. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording videos at 1080p resolution at 30fps.
The rear body color provides three variants which include gray, silver, and blue. The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh which is equipped with 10W charging via a microUSB cable. The kitchen is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 Octa-Core (12nm) chipset.
The Redmi 10A chipset is accompanied by three storage capacity variants including 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM. To increase storage space, there is a microSD slot with a capacity of up to 512 GB.
This new phone also supports a fingerprint scanner to quickly enter content on the screen without using a password which is located near the rear camera module and at the bottom of the white Redmi logo writing.
While the interface is running MIUI 12.5 based on Android OS. Other supporting features are also quite complete, starting from WiFi, 4G-LTE, two SIMs, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Xiaomi claims that this phone has passed stringent product quality tests including 500,000 times the power button test, 10,000 times the microUSB detachable resistance, 300 times the drop test, and the static pressure of a heavy object weighing 70kg.
