In the 17th minute, the cooperation of Juan Cuadrado and Arthur could not bring Juventus to an advantage. But in the 21st minute, Alvaro Morata managed to score the opener after getting a pass from Manuel Locatelli.

Entering the 36th minute, Juventus again controlled the game, even so they still struggled to score a second goal. Juventus almost added to the lead towards the end of the match.

However, Dusan Vlahovic was caught in the offside trap and failed to double the score. The first half was closed with Juventus’ 1-0 advantage over Spezia.

Second round

At the start of the second half, Spezia appeared to attack to get the equaliser. The result, in the 51st minute, they had a good chance to score, but Emmanuel Gyasi’s header could still be saved by the Juventus goalkeeper.

In the 56th minute, Spezia had another chance, but Wojciech Szczesny easily saved the visitors’ chances. Spezia had another chance in the 71st minute through Arkadiusz Reca, but his volley went wide of the target.

Wojciech Szczesny again saved his goal from conceding in the 80th minute after saving Kevin Agudelo’s shot. Alvaro Morata has another chance.

However, Morata failed to take advantage of the opportunity after his shot went wide of goal. The 1-0 score for Juventus’ victory lasted until the game ended.
