1. Endometrial cancer

2. Uterine sarcoma

Uterine sakoma is a cancer that originates from the muscle and supporting tissues of the uterus. This type of cancer is quite rare compared to endometrial cancer.

Then, uterine sarcomas are divided into several types, depending on the type of cancer cells that first appeared.

Types of uterine leiomyosarcoma attack the myometrium (uterine muscle), endometrial stromal sarcoma attacks the stroma (supporting tissue in the endometrium), undifferentiated sarcoma attacks the muscle or stroma.

Causes of Uterine Cancer

The cause of uterine cancer in women, whether it is endometrial cancer or uterine sarcoma is still unclear. But, scientists say most cancer cells have estrogen and progesterone receptors on the surface.

This condition allows the interaction between receptors and hormones to increase cell growth and is not normal. This is what can cause cancer.

In addition, scientists also found that DNA changes in certain genes have the potential to trigger uterine cancer.
