Heidi Klum was among the stars who came to downtown LA and attended various parties leading up to last weekend’s Super Bowl party.
Klum poses on the red carpet with her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz on Friday (2/11) at an event at the Pacific Design Center featuring Justin Bieber’s concert.
Other guests attending the event lauded their city as hosting this grand event for the first time in 30 years.
Joseph Baena, Arnold Schwarzengger’s 24-year-old son said, “I think the last time the Super Bowl was celebrated in LA, I wasn’t even born yet, so it’s amazing it’s held here. There was a lot of traffic, but the parties were even greater. Life in LA can’t be described in words, there’s nothing like it. And this weekend, with the Super Bowl, was absolutely incredible. It’s amazing and I love the presence of so many people in this city. I’m an LA native too.”
Former NFL player for the Chargers from San Diego, Larry English was also present and he said, “I think it’s definitely a new era of football in LA. We see two very competitive and dominant teams. I think the future of LA is bright from a football point of view right now. So there will be changes.”
English’s wife, Nicole, who stars in the reality film series WAGS, says LA is an interesting mix. “I think it’s really interesting cool, there’s celebrities and there’s fashion and there’s football, it’s all mixed. LA is like Hollywood. It’s a cool dynamic, different and I’m very happy,” he commented.
Meanwhile Josie Canseco, model and daughter of baseball star Jose Canseco, wasn’t just present at this Super Bowl party. He felt lucky to be able to watch the game. He said the result of this competition was very important, and if the LA team won it would be a big win. [jm/my]
