The former Minister of Health, Doctor Terawan Agus Putranto, is back in the conversation. Recently, the Special Team for the Medical Ethics Honorary Council (MKEK) decided to permanently terminate Dr Terawan from the membership of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Saturday (26/3/2022).

The dismissal was stipulated in the letter of the MKEK Special Team Number 0312/PP/MKEK/03/2022 which was read out at the 31st Congress of PB IDI in Banda Aceh. Now as a consequence, Doctor Terawan is threatened with no longer being able to apply for a license to practice as a doctor.
