Microsoft Presents PC Game Pass Preview in Indonesia for IDR 1,500

Gadgetren – For the first time, Microsoft has introduced a PC Game Pass preview to Indonesia and four other countries such as Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

With the PC Game Pass, it allows players to play as many games as they want through a subscription system without having to pay them one by one at an expensive price.

Games that are played through PC Game Pass access cannot be fully owned by players, so if you unsubscribe, the game cannot be played again unless you re-subscribe or buy the game.

Along with this announcement, Microsoft is also opening the registration door for players who want to have access to PC Game Pass. Just spend Rp. 1,500, players can immediately join PC Game Pass and then start a monthly subscription.

After joining, players will be able to have access to more than 100 games including games from old Xbox Game Studios to the latest and also join EA Play membership at the same time. Thus, users can play a variety of games across genres at an affordable monthly price.

These include games like Minecraft, Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires IV, Sea of Thieves, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and many more. It also includes new Xbox Game Studios games like Halo Infinite, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls from Bethesda Softworks, independent games, and blockbusters.

Meanwhile, EA Play games that can be played via PC Game Pass are like games from FIFA, Battlefield, The Sims and Mass Effect. According to the monitoring of the Gadgetren team, if a player has joined PC Game Pass, the following month will be charged a normal monthly price of around Rp. 49,999.

Regarding the PC Game Pass preview registration process, it’s quite easy, players who already have a Microsoft account can directly download the Xbox Insiders application first. After Xbox Insider is installed, select the preview menu within the Xbox Insiders app to activate the PC Game Pass Southeast Asia Market Expansion offer listed in the Available menu bar by pressing the Join button.

It doesn’t take long for players to actively join PC Game Pass. Then Xbox Insiders will automatically open the Xbox app on PC by displaying updates in the Home menu that already says Game Pass.

There, players only need to choose the Xbox Insiders PC Game Pass special offer banner to complete the initial subscription process by paying Rp. 1,500 via credit or debit payment methods.

Furthermore, players can freely play various games which of course have a Game Pass label description. Compared to PC Game Pass trials abroad, which cost 1 USD, of course the price in Southeast Asia is much cheaper.

Going forward, Microsoft said that it is currently testing and will soon prepare a local payment system so that players in Indonesia can make payment transactions easily with various methods.

As a first step to providing access to PC Game Pass in Indonesia, players can test and provide input to Microsoft so they can improve all services including providing more ways to join PC Game Pass.

Jeremy Hinton, Xbox Asia Business Lead, explained that bringing PC Game Pass to new countries in Southeast Asia is an important part of our efforts to achieve this mission as we reach out to billions of players.

“PC Game Pass has a large collection of high-quality games from a variety of game studios, with experiences from every genre. Xbox Insiders members will have their first chance to experience the value PC Game Pass has to offer, and we look forward to making this service available to more gamers soon.”

As additional information PC Game Pass was first launched in 2019 and was built from the ground up to date in partnership with the PC gaming community to give gamers the freedom everywhere to discover and play a highly curated collection of games.
