OPPO A55 Released in Indonesia, Rely on 50 MP Main Camera and 5,000mAh Battery

Today OPPO launched its newest A series cellphone called OPPO A55 in Indonesia. This device has a large capacity battery, fast charging feature, and a large resolution main camera.

Aryo Meidianto A as PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia revealed that the OPPO A55 was launched as a successor to the A54 by bringing improvements. “This device provides the best performance for users in its class, especially those who prioritize the balance between performance, camera, design, and battery life,” added Aryo.

The 5,000mAh battery served by the OPPO A55 is claimed to be able to last for 16.3 hours for online video streaming, more than 24 hours for playing music, or 29 hours for phone calls.

Thanks to 18W Fast Charge support, the battery can be charged from 0% to 33% in just 30 minutes. There is also a Super Nighttime Standby feature on this device which can minimize power consumption by only 1.37% when the user falls asleep and forgets to turn it off.

By activating the Super Power Saving Mode mode, OPPO A55 can still run WhatsApp for 58 minutes or phone calls for 88 minutes when the battery percentage reaches a critical point of 5%.

Regarding photography, the OPPO A55 comes with three rear cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera, 2 MP bokeh, and a 2 MP macro. There is a Night Mode feature that can produce bright and clear night photos.

While the Night Plus filter on this cellphone allows the rear camera to capture attractive night view photos. For the front camera, it has a resolution of 16 MP with AI Beautification support which can produce selfie photos with the subject’s face that looks smooth and naturally beautiful.

OPPO A55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset combined with 4 GB of RAM which is able to run applications smoothly. There is an internal storage of 64 GB whose capacity can be expanded with a microSD up to 256 GB on this cellphone.

On the front, OPPO A55 is equipped with a 6.51-inch screen with HD + resolution (1600 x 720 pixels) which can display content widely so that it makes users free when playing games or watching videos.

This device is equipped with IPX4 certification which proves that it is resistant to splashes of water so that it can free users from worrying when using the OPPO A55 in drizzling conditions.

OPPO A55 also has support for two SIM cards, 4G-LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth, and uses ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11. Coming with Rainbow Blue and Starry Black color variants, OPPO A55 will be available gradually starting March 2022 at a price of Rp. 2,699,000 through OPPO’s offline and online channels in Indonesia.
