Ratchanok is not the only Thai representative who has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. Another Thai women’s singles, Pornpawee Chochuwong, also experienced the same thing.
Pornpawee was confirmed positive for COVID-19 when he was about to leave for Birmingham for the All England 2022 next week.
“Take care @pcmeew and we wish Mew a speedy recovery,” wrote BWF on their Isntagram account (@bwf.official).
3. Will Ratchanok appear at the All England?
Ratchanok should have been scheduled to compete at the All England 2022 after completing his duties at the German Open 2022. The BWF Super 1000 All England 2022 tournament will take place at the Utlita Arena Birmingham, England, 16-20 March 2022.
There is no clear certainty whether Ratchanok will still compete in the All England 2022 or not. Until this news was written, Ratchanok’s name was still on the list drawing All England 2022.
