TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, believes that Pratama Arhan will be able to adapt well to the Japanese League’s second tier club, Tokyo Verdy. The player from PSIS Semarang has officially signed a two-year contract with the club.
Shin said, Arhan discussed a lot with him before finally deciding to join Tokyo Verdy. The South Korean coach believes the 20-year-old Indonesian national team left-back can compete there.
“I think Arhan is a disciplined player, so he’s confident that he can compete well in Japan,” said Shin after leading the inaugural U-19 national team practice at the Madya Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno Region, Wednesday, March 2, 2022.
Shin Tae-yong said that Japanese football is very detailed, so Arhan can learn well and later be able to set the best example in Indonesian football. “I believe he can be a more focused player in the game,” he said.

“Congratulations to Arhan for being able to play at Tokyo Verdy. It is also a club that is respected because it has won,” added Iriawan.
