TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Pratama Arhan will soon leave Indonesia to play with the Japanese League’s second tier club, Tokyo Verdy. The 20-year-old has a two-year contract with Tokyo Verdy.
Arhan’s agent, Dusan Bodganovic, said all the required papers were ready. Currently, the player is just waiting for a visa to come out from the Japanese government.
“There is a special permit from the Japanese government because citizens can. Currently, the visa process has been entered, it is estimated that in the next six to seven days Arhan will go to Japan. He will undergo quarantine there, three days later,” Dusan said during a press conference on the release Pratama Arhan by the General Chairperson of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan, at the PSSI Office, Friday, March 4, 2022.
The general chairman of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan, gave a special message to Arhan before leaving for Japan. He asked Arhan to play optimally and immediately adapt in Japan.
“Congratulations, Arhan, you can carry the name of Indonesia in Japan. Especially for Arhan, you are amazing, congratulations, I am proud of you, I am touched to see you playing at Tokyo Verdy,” said Iriawan.
“Of course, my advice is to play optimally, take care of your health and immediately adapt to Japanese culture. There the people are polite and respect people, almost the same as in Java. Take care of the good name of Indonesia, PSSI, Merah Putih, and spread it there. Hopefully Tokyo Verdy can move up to the J-League right now in the second tier,” said the PSSI chairman.
Meanwhile, Arhan admitted that he was ready to give his best when playing at Tokyo Verdy.
“I have now started a new career. I will work even harder in my new team. I will show the best for myself and the Indonesian people, I will give the best,” said Arhan.
The announcement that Primary Arhan will strengthen the Japanese League’s second tier club, Tokyo Verdy, was conveyed by his new club on February 16 last. The 20-year-old player has a two-year contract. PSIS Semarang released the player on a free transfer.
