“Women have monthly cycles and the benefit of regular exercise is to regulate hormones, especially estrogen. The hormone estrogen plays a role in the onset of PMS symptoms,” he explained.

He emphasized that beneficial exercise needs to be done regularly and correctly. Doing it regularly is often a challenge in itself for reasons of busyness to laziness.

Doctor Sophia shares two tips to be able to exercise regularly. First, by joining a suitable sports community.

“If there is a community that both exercise, then finally they have a partner. The motivation is not only from oneself, but also from someone who reminds them to do sports,” he said.

The second tip is to make a special schedule for exercise. He reminded that it is enough to set aside at least 30 minutes a day to exercise.
