Suara.com – Ria Ricis was immediately rushed to the hospital after returning from a vacation to France, Switzerland, to Turkey. In the video that was uploaded on Saturday (19/3/2022), Teuku Ryan’s wife was treated in the emergency room.

According to Teuku Ryan, Oki Setiana Dewi’s sister has stomach pain and migraines.

“My wife is dropping. I’ve had two bottles of infusion. The first is for the stomach and dizziness, the second is vitamins,” explained Teuku Ryan, sitting next to his wife who was lying in a hospital bed.

But unfortunately, Ryan did not mention in detail what type of stomach disease his wife suffered.

According to Alodokter, there are various kinds of gastric diseases and some of them are very common.

1. Gastritis

Gastritis or inflammation of the stomach wall can occur in two types, namely acute and chronic.

There are various triggers for this condition, such as long-term use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, excessive alcohol consumption, and autoimmune diseases.

Symptoms of gastritis can include nausea, vomiting, pain in the pit of the stomach, to black stools.

If not treated immediately, gastritis can cause complications such as gastric ulcers, stomach bleeding, to gastric cancer.

2. GERD

GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease, can also be called acid reflux disease, is a condition when food or drinks that have been mixed with stomach acid back up into the esophagus.

Symptoms of GERD include the appearance of a sour or bitter taste in the mouth, a burning sensation in the chest, nausea, vomiting, sore throat, difficulty sleeping.

Without proper treatment, GERD can cause irritation and bleeding in the esophagus and esophageal cancer.

3. Stomach ulcer

This is a condition due to erosion of the walls of the stomach or small intestine. In general, diseases of the stomach are caused by infection with the bacterium Helicobacter pylori or excessive consumption of anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin and ibuprofen.

Symptoms of stomach ulcers consist of flatulence, frequent belching, heartburn, and vomiting blood.

Some symptoms may worsen when you are under stress, eating spicy or acidic foods in excess, smoking and drinking alcohol.
