Jakarta, IDN Times – The Indonesian U-19 National Team will undergo a training camp (TC) in South Korea, March 11 to April 15, 2021. During the TC process, the Garuda Muda squad will undergo several test matches.
“We have TC in Youngdeok and Daegu. In Youngdeok there is one trial, while Daegu has eight trials. Everything has been prepared by coach Shin Tae Yong. Surely this is a good foundation for the U-19 national team,” said the assistant coach of the U-19 national team, Choi In Cheol.
The opponents faced by the U-19 National Team are not random opponents. They will meet university teams that won titles, as well as several junior teams from famous South Korean clubs. Who are they?
1. The U-19 national team has a tryout in Yeongdeok
Indonesia U-19 National Team Squad. (pssi.org)Judging by the existing schedule, the U-19 national team will carry out a trial in Yeongdeok. They will meet the Yeongnam University team. This campus itself is the former alma mater of the Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae Yong.
After graduating from Yeungnam, Shin immediately played in Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma. Yeungnam University regularly participates in the Korean Cup, and has competed with other top-level universities in Indonesia.
