Testimony of Jorge Martin Fear of Death when Falling in Losail

Jakarta, IDN Times – Pramac Ducati racer, Jorge Martin, admitted that he was afraid of his life while racing at the Losail Circuit, Qatar, in the MotoGP opener yesterday (6/3/2022). He had felt his life was threatened when he fell after touching his partner, Francesco Bagnaia.

When the race entered the seventh round, the two of them had a chance to intersect. In fact, at that time Martin was in the top three and squeezed the champion, Enea Bastianini.

However, at that time Martin already felt something strange. He finally lowered his speed.

“A lot of riders overtook me and that’s where the strange things happened,” said Martin Crash.

1. Want to overtake other racers, but can’t

According to Martin, he should be able to overtake Aprilia racer Aleix Espargaro and Suzuki jockey Alex Rins. However, this did not happen.

The problem becomes more complicated when trying to pass the first corner. Desmosedici Martin’s motorbike could not be controlled.

The Spaniard lost control of the front wheels of the Desmosedici when it reached 150 kilometers per hour. Worse yet, Pecco’s motorbike also fell and seemed to want to hit him.

“It was the first time I was afraid to die because I was so fast when I fell into the gravel. I saw two motorbikes falling too. I think I pushed one motorbike, Pecco’s with this hand,” explained Martin.

2. You have to push Pecco’s motorbike to save yourself

As a result of his action pushing Pecco’s motorbike, which weighs more than 100 kilograms, Martin’s arm was injured. He hoped the injury wasn’t too bad.

“I just want to race well in Indonesia later,” said Martin.

3. Martin is not angry with Pecco

Martin was not angry when his motorbike touched Pecco and crashed. Instead, he was annoyed when his motorbike was unable to compete with other racers.

“Accidents can happen at any time. I’m just angry because we are not competitive. I hope to be on the podium, even win. However, the speed is not qualified. There are many issues that I have to understand,” said Martin.
