This is the latest schedule for Jakarta MRT and LRT during PPKM Level 2

Jakarta, IDN Times – PT MRT Jakarta made adjustments to its operational schedule in connection with the government’s decision to lower the status of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) in Jakarta to Level 2.

This schedule adjustment is a follow-up to the Decree of the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service (Kadishub) Number 145 of 2022 concerning Technical Guidelines for Setting Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities During the Implementation of Level 2 Corona Virus Disease 2019 Restrictions on Community Activities.

Corporate Secretary Division Head PT MRT Jakarta Rendi Alhial said this schedule change took effect today, Friday (11/3/2022). Operational hours Monday to Friday (weekdays) are effective from 05.00-21.30 WIB, and Saturday to Sunday (weekends) or holidays from 06.00-21.30 WIB.

1. User capacity 65 people per train

Meanwhile, the distance between the trains (headway) on weekdays (weekdays) every five minutes during peak hours at 07.00-09.00 and 17.00-19.00. Temporary headway off peak hours every 10 minutes, and on weekends (weekend) or holidays, headway every 10 minutes flat.

“The capacity of the number of users is 65 people per train,” said Rendi, Friday.

During the adjustment of the operational schedule, PT MRT Jakarta will continue to enforce the rules of social distancing on trains by keeping distance signs installed.

2. Must scan apps

In addition, while in the station and train areas, service users are required to follow applicable rules, including the application of health protocols (prokes) such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, and maintaining hand hygiene by washing with soap.

“Service users are also asked to scan a QR code through the PeduliLindung application before entering the station area, and not to speak in one or two directions while on the train,” he explained.

Rendi added that every service user can download the BANGKIT Protocol guide on the website www.jakartamrt.co.id before using the Jakarta MRT service.

“PT MRT Jakarta has consistently implemented procedures related to preventing the spread of COVID-19 strictly in every station and train area,” he said.

3. LRT operating hours during Jakarta PPKM Level 2

There is also the Jakarta LRT, in connection with the implementation of PPKM Level 2, operating at 100 percent normal capacity. LRT operating hours start at 05.30-21.30 with headway 10 minutes and valid every day.

“This policy comes into effect today, Friday (11/3/2022),” said Kurniati, Corporate Communication Manager PT LRT Jakarta.

While using the LRT, users are required to wear a mask (it is recommended to use double masks), keep a distance, and are not allowed to talk or receive calls while on the train.
