Jakarta, IDN Times – The U-19 National Team will have a long way to go before appearing in the 2023 U-20 World Cup. One of them is that they will hold training camps (TC) in several countries.
PSSI General Chair, Mochamad Iriawan, said that the U-19 national team opened up opportunities to undergo TC in Europe. Croatia and France will be the goals of the Garuda Muda squad.
“There will also be opportunities for TC to go to Europe, such as to Croatia and France. So that later TC will not only be held in Asian countries,” said Iriawan at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, Friday (11/3/2022).

The tournament, which Egy Maulana Vikri et al has also participated in, will be held from May 29 to June 12, 2022. This year, the U-19 National Team will not participate due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Later we will also play in the Toulon Tournament. What is clear, the roadmap has been presented by the Technical Director (Indra Sjafri). So, the U-19 national team squad will undergo long training to look good at the 2023 U-20 World Cup,” said Iriawan.
