Gadgetren – After presenting the Vivo Y33s in 2021 yesterday, including in Indonesia, Vivo has brought the cellphone back this year but with 5G network support.
The vivo Y33s 5G has been sold through a pre-order program in China through the official website. This time, the vivo Y33s comes in three color variants, previously only two colors, including Mirror Black, Midday Dream, and one pink with blue gradation.
The price starts from ?1299 or the equivalent of 2.9 million rupiah for the 4 GB RAM variant and 128 GB of internal storage to ?1599 or the equivalent of 3.6 million rupiah for 8 GB RAM capacity and 128 GB internal storage.
If previously the Vivo Y33s 4G version used the MediaTek Helio G80 Octa-Core (12nm), then the Vivo Y33s 5G relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 Octa-Core (7nm) so the performance is arguably faster than before.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh which features 18W fast charging. The interface runs OriginOs Ocean based on Android 12. Users can take advantage of the microSD slot up to 1TB to expand storage space.
In terms of appearance, the screen has a size of 6.51 inches with an LCD panel that has a waterdrop design as a front camera with an 8 MP resolution with an aperture of f / 1.8 to support the needs of selfie photos and video calls.
The screen also supports a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and uses a refresh rate of 60Hz. On the back there is a dual camera configuration consisting of a 13 MP main lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. There are also 5G writings on the camera module and LED flash.
The front camera offers digital zoom of up to 2x and the main lens provides digital zoom of up to 10x and has auto focus focusing capabilities. Video recording for the front and rear lenses delivers 1080p resolution.
Other supporting features have been provided in the form of a fingerprint scanner located on the right side of the body as well as the power button, Face Unlock, WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, USB type C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
vivo Y33s has almost the same specifications as the vivo Y55 5G which was marketed in January 2022 yesterday by presenting a smaller screen and smaller resolution and slightly different camera configuration.
