A report states that the Vivo brand’s first foldable phone will be launched in April 2022. Currently, folding screen smartphones are indeed becoming trend on the market.
Various well-known brands have started to produce and launch their flagship folding screen smartphones. In fact, recently there have been a total of four mobile phone brands foldable which was officially released in Indonesia.

In this case, Vivo also does not want to be left behind. Its first foldable phone is rumored to have an internal codename “butterfly“. This indicates that the handset will come with a design like the wings of a butterfly that can be bent.
If the news is true, then Vivo will be the latest Chinese smartphone manufacturer to launch a smartphone foldablefollowing the Honor Magic V and OPPO Find N.
As the first folding screen smartphone from its brand, Vivo is said to be featuring technological breakthroughs from its hinge mechanism.
Not only that, the device will also come with innovations in core components. So in terms of performance, this new handset is claimed to compete with folding smartphones from Samsung and Huawei.
Regarding the name, previously there were leaks about the device with the Vivo X Fold moniker. With this, it’s most likely a foldable smartphone with an internal codename “butterfly” is the same device.
