Watford vs Arsenal results in the English League 2021-2022: The Gunners Win Thin : Okezone Bola

Playing at Vicarage Road Stadium, Sunday (6/3/2022) night WIB, a fierce duel was presented throughout the match. Martin Odegaard (5′), Bukayo Saka (30′) and Gabriel Martinelli (52′) scored three goals for Arsenal. While Watford, they could only reply to two goals through the action of Cucho Hernandez (11′) and Moussa Sissoko (87′).

The course of the match

First round

At the beginning of the first half, Arsenal managed to control the game. As a result, they managed to open the scoring in the fifth minute through Martin Odegaard after using Bukayo Saka’s pass.

The one-goal lead meant Arsenal’s players were determined to score again, but they made a mistake in the ninth minute. Violations outside the penalty box were put to good use by Watford. In the 10th minute, Juan Hernandez managed to equalize through a free kick.

Arsenal also continued to launch dangerous attacks after the draw. Their efforts also bear fruit in the 30th minute. Bukayo Saka managed to double Arsenal’s advantage.

Towards the end of the first half, Arsenal had a good chance to score again. However, Kieran Tierney’s shot was saved by the Watford goalkeeper. The first half was closed with Arsenal’s 2-1 advantage over Watford.

Second round

Watford went straight into attacking play to score the equaliser. However, the Arsenal goalkeeper was still able to save his goal from conceding a goal.

Fun attacking, the home team had to concede a goal again. Gabriel Martinelli managed to bring Arsenal ahead in the 52nd minute.

Left far behind, Watford tried to catch up. A golden opportunity was obtained in the 72nd minute. However, Moussa Sissoko’s shot was wide of the goal. Arsenal then counter-attacked, but Eddie Nketiah’s shot hit the post.

Disaster then came to Arsenal’s goal, which had to concede a goal. Moussa Sissoko managed to reduce the position to 2-3 for Watford.

Towards the end of the game, Watford continued to try to get a goal back. However, Arsenal’s players managed to break attack after attack that was built by the home team.

Until the game was over, Watford failed to score an equalizer. Arsenal also managed to achieve a narrow 3-2 victory over Watford.
