These two smartphones are touted as fierce rivals as well as being superior to smartphones in the mid-range range.

Screen and design

When it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is arguably more modern than the iPhone SE 2022 which still sticks with their old school design, which is similar to the iPhone 8.

For the screen, the Galaxy A53 is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen, a punch-hole camera in front and also a very thin bezel. This smartphone is also equipped with a Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

When it comes to cameras, Samsung has brought a flagship camera to their mid-range smartphone with 4 rear cameras, namely a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth camera.

How about the 2022 iPhone SE? Apple only embeds one camera on the back with a 12MP resolution. The iPhone SE 2022 has a camera that is claimed to be quite good in its class, but the A53 5G quad camera system is claimed to be more impressive.

The A53 also has a superior front camera with 32MP resolution and 4K video support, while the iPhone SE 3 has a 7MP front camera and can record 1080p Full HD videos at a maximum.

Battery

Larger battery power is the next advantage for the Galaxy A53 5G. Samsung pinned a 5000mAh battery which is claimed to last up to 2 days.

While Apple is shy about mentioning the battery capacity of the SE 3, it is said that this smartphone has a battery capacity of 1821mAh. From its claims, the SE 2022 can last up to 15 hours for video playback.

The Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 25W wired charging speed while the iPhone SE 3 has an 18W battery speed. Reportedly, only the iPhone SE 3 has wireless charging support.
