XL Acquires 51% Hypernet Shares Worth Rp 321.3 billion

Telset.id, Jakarta – XL Axiata has officially acquired the ownership of PT Hipernet Indodata or Hypernet. This acquisition was carried out to increase products in the XL Axiata enterprise customer segment.

The IDX’s information disclosure site revealed that XL Axiata has signed a Conditional Share Purchase Agreement with several Hypernet shareholding companies, namely Bridgefield Prime Investments Pte.Ltd., Ameisys Global Technologies Pte. Ltd., PT Mitra Indo Asia, and PT Magna Karya Archipelago.

With the signing of the Conditional Share Purchase Agreement, XL Axiata will own 51% of Hypernet shares or 2,805 shares with a transaction value of around Rp 321.3 billion.

According to XL Axiata’s Corporate Secretary, Ranty Astari Rachman, the Share Purchase Agreement was made on Tuesday (22/3/2022). The planned acquisition of Hypernet shares aims to increase the coverage of XL Axiata products in the enterprise customer segment.

“This share acquisition aims to increase the range of products offered by XL Axiata to corporate customers,” said Ranty.

Please note that Hypernet is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) company with the capacity of information and technology services that can be tailored to customer needs.

Hypernet offers services for providing internet connection, cloud, digital communication services for companies, IT resource management services and cyber security services.

The company was founded on January 27, 2007 and its head office is in the West Jakarta area.

XL Axiata Acquires Link Net

Prior to the acquisition of Hypernet share ownership, Axiata Group Berhad (Axiata) and PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) on Thursday (27/1/2022) announced that they had taken over PT Link Net Tbk (Link Net) for Rp. 8.72 trillion in January. 2022.

The corporate action was carried out through the Signing of a Conditional Share Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJB) to jointly take over 66.03% of Link Net’s shares owned by Asia Link Dewa Pte Ltd (ALD) and PT First Media Tbk (FM).

The agreed purchase price is IDR 4,800 per common share on Link Net (Link Net Shares) or around IDR 8.72 trillion. This means a value of around Rp. 13.21 trillion for 100% of the total shares with fully paid voting rights in Link Net. (NM/MF)
