Nokia Releases 3 Android Go Phones at Populist Prices

Uzone.id – At the annual MWC 2022 event held in Barcelona, ​​Spain, HMD Global as the owner of smartphone manufacturer Nokia announced 3 new smartphones from the C series line, Nokia C21, Nokia C21 Plus and Nokia C2 2nd Edition.

These 3 smartphones will use the Go version of Android 11 and are here for those who are looking for a cheap smartphone for light activities.

The Nokia C21, C21 Plus and C2 2nd Edition were now introduced at the MWC event as a sign that these smartphones have arrived in the European market.

These three smartphones will be available starting in March for the Nokia C21 and in April for the Nokia C21 Plus and Nokia C2 2nd Edition in Europe.

Nokia C21

Nokia C21 comes with a price of EUR99 or around Rp. 1.5 million with Android 11 (Go edition). Android Go is suitable for smartphones that do not have large RAM because its performance does not consume a lot of RAM memory.

Because it comes with this OS, the Nokia C21 comes with a light version of Google applications, including Google Go, Gmail Go, YouTube Go, and Maps Go.

The Nokia C21 has a 6.517-inch HD+ LCD with a notch at the top. Inside the notch there is a 5MP selfie camera and an 8MP main camera on the back of the phone.

The Nokia C21 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, as well as a microSD slot. The smartphone is equipped with a removable 3000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Nokia C21 Plus

Nokia C21 Plus has better specifications and a higher price. HMD Global priced this variant smartphone at a price of EUR 119 or Rp. 1.9 million.

This Android 11 (Go edition) phone comes with a 6.517-inch HD + screen and uses the same processor, Unisoc SC9863A.

However, for RAM, this smartphone has more RAM, namely 4GB and 64GB storage and a microSD slot for additional external memory.

The smartphone has a fingerprint sensor on the back and is IP52 certified, which means it can withstand splashes of water.

Camera Nokia C21 Plus has two rear cameras, a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor for portraits. While the front camera has a 5MP sensor. The Nokia C21 Plus comes with a larger 4000mAh battery.

Nokia C2 2nd Edition comes at a cheaper price, even being the cheapest smartphone among these three smartphones. HMD priced it at EUR79 or IDR 1.2 million.

The Nokia C2 2nd Edition has a 5.7-inch display with a lower FWVGA resolution. This smartphone uses a MediaTek processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.
