The POCO M series itself is a beginner class device offered by POCO for users who are concerned with mobile phone performance with the Maximize Your Fun theme. The introductory price of the POCO M4 Pro starts at 2.5 million rupiah.
Users can buy POCO M4 Pro starting April 4, 2022 online through the po.co.id site and e-commerce which is the official partner of POCO Indonesia and offline through the POCO Store to the POCO offline store. The introductory price of the POCO M4 Pro is valid until April 30, 2022.
Unlike the POCO M3, POCO M4 Pro no longer offers a body with a curved design on each side of the rear body but with a flat rear cross-section at the edges. It weighs about 179.5 grams with a thickness of 8.09mm and has dimensions of 159.87 x 73.87 x 8.09mm.
The 6.43-inch POCO M4 Pro screen has a Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a Super AMOLED panel and supports a refresh rate of 90Hz with a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. In addition, it is also equipped with DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1000 nits brightness level, and SGS certification for Eye Care Display and Seamless Display.
In order to be resistant to scratches, the screen is also protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This cellphone also has IP53 certification which indicates that the POCO M4 Pro is resistant to splashing water at 60º vertically and is resistant to dust.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000mAh which is equipped with a 33W fast charging feature that allows users to charge it without spending a long time. Charging the POCO M4 Pro is claimed to only take 61 minutes from 0 percent to 100 percent.
The inside of the innards relies on the MediaTek Helio G96 Octa-Core (12nm) chipset combined with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.2 internal storage.
To increase RAM capacity, POCO M4 Pro provides the Dynamic RAM Expansion feature which can be added up to 3 GB for the highest RAM variant. Users can also increase storage space by using the microSD slot up to 1TB.
To provide optimal performance, POCO M4 Pro features a LiquidCool Technology cooling system that is able to maintain temperatures within reasonable limits with a heat sink area of 10,05mm.
The POCO M4 Pro front camera uses a 16 MP resolution lens that is in a punch hole design. On the back, it uses a triple camera configuration consisting of a 64 MP main lens, an 8 MP wide-angle lens with 118º coverage, and a 2 MP macro lens for capturing close-up images.
Regarding security authentication, the POCO M4 Pro has a fingerprint scanner on the right side of its body as well as a power button to enter quickly without using a password. The interface is running MIUI 13 based on Android OS.
The back of the POCO M4 Pro offers three color options which include Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow. Other supporting features are fairly complete such as dual SIM, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, IR Blaster, NFC Multifunction, USB Type-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Gyroscope, FM Radio, z-axis linear motor, and stereo speakers.
